Code Privacy#

  • RTI does not use your source code for any model training.

  • While Connext AI can provide with general technical guidance, it is not suitable for handling regulated data (such as PHI, PII, or classified information). You should not rely on it for compliance-critical tasks without review from your legal or security teams. Always follow your organization’s data security policies.

Storage & Retention#

  • Your chatbot interaction history is stored on secure RTI systems.

  • Data is retained for continuity and product improvement unless deletion is requested by contacting privacy@rti.com.

  • Access is limited to authorized RTI personnel with strict role-based permissions.

Security & Compliance#

  • All data is stored in encrypted databases.

  • Access is restricted to key RTI personnel only.

  • RTI is committed to maintaining robust security measures and privacy protections, continuously adapting to evolving industry best practices.

User Control#

  • Connext Copilot users can disable file sharing through the User Preferences menu in their IDE.

  • To request data deletion or get more information about RTI’s privacy policy, email privacy@rti.com.

Privacy FAQ#

  1. What data does Connext AI collect?
    Connext AI collects:
    • Your questions (prompts)

    • Files you use as context or upload to Connext AI

    • Connext AI responses

    • Feedback you provide

    • Interaction metadata (timestamps, session info, etc.)

    • When using Connext Copilot, files you have open in your workspace at the time you ask Connext AI a question (you can disable this option).

    The data collected enables Connext AI features and helps inform future improvements.

  2. How is customer data used in Connext AI?

    RTI does not use your prompts, files, or responses for model training.

    RTI uses this data to:
    • Improve Connext AI accuracy

    • Debug issues and maintain product quality

    • Understand feature usage trends
